We will be back!

Having stayed there once and loved it, I'm headed back this year again for my annual Bisbee Pride pilgrimage (come on down, it's one friendly, long, fun weekend - always Father's Day Weekend)!  I was impressed with the excellent customer service by Tamara, the manager, who really goes out of her way to take care of you, no matter what you may need.  She's friendly, kind, genuine, and knows how to run this hotel and take care of you!

If you're looking to be smack dab in the middle of Old Bisbee and therefore not have to haul yourself all over the place, you'll love it!  Situated on the second story of a building that houses the wonderful Mexican restaurant, Santiago's on the ground floor, this small hotel has a wonderful sense of Bisbee and hominess to it in each of its rooms.  All decorated differently, and all but one on the street (corner of Brewery Gulch and Howell Ave, next door to the Copper Queen Hotel), each room has charm, personality and all the amenities you want, but may not expect, like makeup remover pads, for example.  Bottled water, fresh cookies, fluffy white towels and the wonderful Old West ambience that is Bisbee are in this place in every corner.

One room, the one I stay in, is in the only room not on a street, so if you'd prefer more quiet (Bisbee is a fun party place on special weekends, so yes, it can get noisy), go for the Golondrina room.  It has a skylight way up in the very tall ceiling, and a great air conditioner, so it's a lovely place for a little afternoon nap.  Yes, each room comes with coffee vouchers and pairs of soft foam earplugs.  That coffee place is just across the street and a lovely place to sit and enjoy either inside or on the porch.  They do have more than coffee!

I can't recommend Hotel San Ramon highly enough for its comfortable, clean, charming and lovely rooms and its delightful, caring, friendly staff!  Whatever you need, they'll do whatever they can do take care of you!

One note, there is no elevator, and the one flight of stairs is a full flight, so if you have mobility issues, you either go one step at a time, like me, or you would need to find another place to stay.  And Santiago's restaurant is delicioso!  :-)

Love this place, very clean , rooms were large, fresh cookies every day, they own the restaurant below ( Santiago's) which is excellent. My only complaint was no coffee maker in room, But they do give you coffee vouchers for the coffee house(2 minute walk) which isn't to bad if you don't mind having to get dress to go get coffee, and you can't do that till 7am when they open :( Otherwise I would give this place a 5 star if it weren't for the coffee situation. Would stay here again.

We stayed in the Campanilla room which was spacious and charming. I found the beds comfortable, although my husband thought the mattress was a bit soft. The bathroom was fine; water pressure was good and everything was clean. The sink is a pedestal so there...More

Just spent the weekend in Bisbee at the Hotel San Ramon for my cousins wedding. I've been to Bisbee before but its been years. The location is in old Bisbee and the atmosphere is wonderful. Your surrounded by tons of restaurants/bars. Hotel San Ramon has a museum directly across for it. We stayed in ROSA room which has two double beds, one bath, and closet.....not a whole lot of room for me my husband and 2 kids but it worked out great. Overall place was clean, beds were super comfortable. You have these large windows that over look the streets below and the windows open so you can let in the cool air at night and in the morning. Air conditioner worked great, hot water, and always had plenty of towels. The ironing board could be updated the cotton cover was very worn out. They could also use maybe a small table in the bathroom but like I said this room doesn't have a lot of space. Hotel was quiet and you needed a pass code to get in to the hotel so you do feel safe. When your checking out just leave the keys in the room and door open. Staff was great and if you needed more towels and didn't want to wait there was a hall closet that you could grab what you needed. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone. Plenty of things to do in Bisbee! Beautiful place!

As a group of for we decided to spend the night here after being helped by the lovely people at Bisbee's Table, a restaurant that belongs to the same hospitality group (BHG). The stay was very pleasant, after making the reservation online we actually did not need to come in contact with the staff once. The rooms were hommie, clean and the location of the building hard to beat. It can get a little loud in this area of town at night but they provide earplugs and if you're down to party you're steps away from some of the best spots in town. For tourism purposes it is a fantastic hotel and happens to be right over a great Mexican restaurant that you can check out. The rooms had all the services needed, speedy wifi, nice stocked bathroom, mini fridge and complementary coffee.
If I'm ever back in Bisbee I will certainly be choosing San Ramon's. Well done to BHG.

Oh my - what a wonderful find. When planning a trip to Bisbee, I wanted to stay at the Copper Queen, but they did not have a room with two beds or none were available (not sure which). So, I looked at options and found Hotel San Ramon. The pictures of the rooms looked nice, so I booked one of the rooms. The stay WAY exceeded my expectations. First, the pictures, although accurate, do not really show the full ambiance of the place - if feels so comfortable and genuinely preserved. Second, the location is fabulous. We parked and walked everywhere around Bisbee for two days. Third, the cookies are delicious - ours were missing for the first night and they brought us fudge! I truly believe for location, value, and ambiance that this is the best choice in Bisbee.

Be advised that the location might be noisy - for us it was not an issue - maybe the time of year. They do provide the best ear plugs I have ever used. So if you are a light sleeper you could use those & they do have rooms that are back away from the streets and would be quieter. All in all though - it was great!

Bisbee was beautiful and this cute hotel is right in the middle of all the charm. The hotel is set up like a bed and breakfast (without the breakfast). Our room was clean and nicely set up, but, like many historic hotels, it was a little too cramped for four people who each like to find a corner of the room to read, nap or relax. As their policies warn you, noise can also be an issue at night due to festivities at the Copper Queen next door or in Brewery Gulch on the other side. We brought a noise machine and we all fell asleep just fine. The hotel also left ear plugs out for guests. One recommendation I have for the hotel is to install black out curtains. The sunlight was incredibly bright in our room starting at 5 AM. At the rate we paid, black out curtains should be expected so guests can sleep in. That was probably the one aspect I was disappointed in.

I initially had a bit of difficulty finding parking, it was not close to the hotel like you would be used to in a bigger city so I was thankful I had chosen to bring rolling luggage. The hotel San Ramon has a bit of stairs to climb up so you will have to carry your luggage up and down. Once up the stairs you will feel like you've just entered a friend or family's home. It looks nothing like a hotel but looks like a nice house big house you are staying in. The room was of adequate size, everything was very clean and very comfortable. Staff was very polite during our limited interactions. Check in and check out was very simple.

Everything was decorated nicely, it did not seem old or like visiting your grandma's house, it was just the right amount of modern and classic décor. My view overlooked the street and it was nice and quiet as I went during a more off time of season.

I definitely recommend this hotel as it is among the more affordable ones and you do not risk sacrificing quality. Plus you can walk right out of the hotel and be on the streets of Bisbee to walk around, look, shop, eat, and take photos.

I usually stay at the Copper Queen but decide to try San Ramon. I'm glad I did. The rooms are nicer and price about the same. Granted there is no restaurant or bar but Bisbee has plenty nearby. My room overlooked brewery gulch so there was a bit of noise but not bad. I'm sure this is random and there is potential for excess so request a room off the street if concerned. Nice touches in the room, ear plugs, elegant bathroom accessories, etc.

Just had my third stay here - same room each time (it is even prettier than the website photos). My 90-year old mom and I go on our girl-trips, and Bisbee has become one of our favorite getaways. Hotel San Ramon is a perfect location for us (there are stairs to the rooms above, but with rails on both sides, my mom rocks them!) We know about and welcome the live music until late into the evening - we end up singing in our sleep. And once the revelry ends the town is completely silent. With comfy beds, a nice breeze with open windows, nice amenities, we always have a great stay.

I recently stayed in Hotel San Ramon and will be going back to Bisbee very soon because of this little gem (I've already asked for time off of work!). The staff and quality of this 6-room hotel were excellent. I arrived to warm cookies in my room and an equally warm staff, which this weary soul certainly needed. I loved the coziness of the rooms and the cleanliness. Whoever cleans these rooms must use a Q-tip - not a speck of dust in sight because my summer allergies certainly would have let me know! I love that I can hear the "sounds of Bisbee" (faintly) as I'm drifting off to sleep - a bit of music mixed with laughter and good cheer from happy restaurant patrons (A restaurant called Santiagos is RIGHT down stairs and I give that place a A+ across the board). Don't get me wrong, it's not a noisy place at night but offers just enough local "white noise" that my heart feels like its in a colorful, peaceful place. The morning views are amazing and the room is centrally located to all the fun stuff there is to do in Bisbee. You can walk to everything from Hotel San Ramon. The locals are nice, colorful, and walk to the beat of their own drum. We had a lovely weekend. Also recommend Bisbee's Table (across the street), Tavolo (Pizza), and the infamous Bisbee Coffee Company, where you will always get a bit of Bisbee culture in every cup. Be sure to quiz the Baristas on the local scene - these guys know everything fun going on in Bisbee! Have fun, see you in my new favorite town! :)

We made a last-minute reservation at the Hotel San Ramon for the Labor Day 2016 weekend, not really knowing what to expect but liking the location because it's a short walk to everything we wanted to see or do. Wow! What a wonderful surprise! Tamara, the owner/manager, called us the day before our stay to upgrade us to the Agave Suite - someone else preferred the room we booked - which was OK with us because she offered it at the same rate and it was larger with a single queen bed instead of two twins. Long story short - the room was wonderful, great A/C, coffee service, everything we needed - so comfortable. Cathy checked us in and she was as nice as Tamara. We are definitely going back to this local gem of a hotel!

I just booked another weekend at this Hotel Ramon. This hotel is the reason I keep returning to Bisbee.
The location is great for touring on foot and not having to drive after having a few drinks. Everything is within walking distance so once you arrive you don’t have to drive anywhere unless you want to.
I see in the reviews that some complain about the noise but your right in the heart of the party and the place to be as far as I am concerned. If I wanted to sleep the weekend away I would have just stayed home. The people in the town are so friendly and helpful. Ask them for the best place for ANYTHING and they are so happy to help.
As far as noise from other rooms we didn’t hear any at all and we had a room right near the stairs. I loved the size of the room and bathroom. The huge windows were fantastic and we sat at the small table with the windows open sharing a bottle of wine before leaving for dinner. Very relaxing days and energized evenings – it’s a great place but if you are going to Bisbee to sleep you should really consider something out of the center of town…..
I love this place and am so looking forward to my next stay

As we were passing by Bisbee, AZ on our way to Mexico, we realized that visiting this small town on the way back might be fun. Before we crossed the border, we made reservations at the San Ramon based on other Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. There was only one Queen size bedroom left so we snagged it. We got Room #3 at the top of the first landing of steps. It had a nice size bathroom, an apartment size kitchen which we weren't expecting and the Queen size bedroom which was large enough for a nice comfy loveseat and small table and chairs. The kitchen appeared to have most of what you would need in the way of plates, glasses, pots, etc., if you were staying for several days and wanted to make some meals in the room. VERY pleasantly surprised with the coffee maker (full size) and related coffee supplies. Nothing aggravates me more than not having coffee readily available in the morning and having to leave my room for it. Yes, I have become very pampered. However, with that said, the Brisbee Coffee company is a very quick walk away from the hotel and there are small cafes nearby where I am sure you could grab a cup. The location is great. You are very close to shopping and restaurants. We even walked up the street to a local market to grab a bottle of wine (maybe a 1/2 mile walk or so). So, all of this made for a very nice stay at the Hotel. Be prepared for the following though. You will need to climb up at least one flight of steep stairs. Bring some muscle with you if you have a large bag you are toting. Also, be careful in the bathtub/shower. No adhesive on the floor of the tub and it is very slippery. My husband almost took a fall in it. We ended up placing a towel in the bottom of the tub to prevent this from happening again. Lastly, there is not a suitcase rack to put your suitcase on so I used one of the chairs on which to open it up. Small things...but its sometimes the details that can irritate you. However, with that said, this is a lovely, comfortable place. it is apparent that the owners have tried to make their guests comfortable in their hotel.

Over nighted here on the way to Texas. Located in the middle of Bisbee's old town, I think most of Bisbee is old, I'd booked a "romantic" room with skylight only. Nicely furnished, all their rooms are located on the second level, Quite good shape for a "historic" property. They were out of coffee for the room, if you can believe that, so they gave us vouchers for the coffee shop across the street. On street parking close bye, avoid the very narrow surrounding streets. Town closes down at 5PM so if you arrive late there's really nothing open except bars and restaurants. Smithsonian affiliated mining museum located a block from the hotel as well as the historic Copper Queen hotel.
Two major issues with this hotel:
1: Bisbee is at an elevation of 5,500 feet. Rooms are all on the second floor, either 15 or 17 steps to climb to get to them. no elevator, typical of historic properties. If you have a physical or respiratory disability I would seriously consider staying someplace else.
2: Apparently Bisbee is a rowdy party town on the weekends and perhaps all during the summer. The hotel has a disclaimer about not being able to control noise and provides ear plugs, for what good they do. They're located above and next to a Mexican restaurant and bar. Don't expect to get any rest if you're a light sleeper.

We went next door to the mexican restaurant, had dinner, and she called when the room was done.

The room was small with two double beds, which was fine for me, my husband and our son. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I also loved the history displayed in the hallways.

This quaint little historical hotel was perfect for our 2-night getaway. Room #1 (king bed) is very roomy--even the bathroom and the large windows in each room make for bright & cheery accommodations. Furnishings and decor reflect the history and southwest location. Linens were nice quality, soft, clean & fresh-smelling. The "old style" TV is small, but you will be out and about and not watching much TV! Hotel San Ramon is within very short walking distance to all the galleries, eateries & bars on Main St & Brewery Ave...and right across the street from the historical museum. Dahlia (at the front desk) was exceptionally friendly and added some nice touches to our visit. When we return to Bisbee we will definitely try to book this hotel and will certainly highly recommend it to anyone.

We stayed overnight to work for two hours. Just to be close to the clients home. Just a wonderful city, a mining town, lots of history, converted buildings built in 1900 plus. Lots of antiques. Lets just say it cost me four times my lodging bill in Antiques to be brought home. We had a ball. And i know we didn't get to all of them. We will be back. We stayed in # 2, front of the building on a Sat night. The revelers and music were up till about midnight. No problem we were up too. If you want quiet, there are two in the back, one with a kitchen and one with no windows just a skylight. But # 2 is pretty big with 6 foot windows on two walls facing two streets . Wonderful vintage feel. Very, Very clean and neat. Oh, and our bed was super comfy.

Making frequent trips to Bisbee to enjoy everything there is to its history I've found it best to stay overnights rather than day trips. On our last trip, my wife and I decided that we'd celebrate her birthday there. We chose the Hotel San Ramon for our romantic getaway and we're glad we did.

While there are plenty of quaint places offering a taste of Bisbee history, none have compared to that of the Hotel San Ramon. The rooms are huge, and there's a true sense that this hotel has a beautiful and deep past, unlike many that simply name rooms to reflect some piece of history only to ruin the experience with makeshift updates and color choices.

Hotel San Ramon is located at the base of the brewery gulch, so its very convenient to those enjoying the nightlife, and those taking the bus trips. Its directly across from the Copper Queen Plaza, which some eclectic vendors have setup inside of to offer the taste of Bisbee. Speaking of taste, you can walk to The Table, also located in the plaza, which happens to have the best creme brulee in miles

My wife and I had already started planning our next trip to Bisbee, which we've decided Hotel San Ramon will be our place to stay. Excellent staff, convenient location, affordable and offering the historical feel of what brings people to Bisbee.

The San Ramon is unique for all the right reasons: spacious rooms, clean and cared for, private and secure, and the unmistakeable sense of hospitality. Very reasonably priced, too. We'll return soon.

If you're looking for a small, friendly accommodation right on the heart of Old Bisbee, this is the place. We arrived mid-day, 3 hrs. before check-in, and that was no problem. Our room (#2) is highly recommended. Windows on 2 sides, making it light, bright and airy. A little noisy with revelers partying outside into the night, but the provided ear plugs helped - and, I like a little rowdiness myself on occasion, so...
The cookies are now oatmeal; still good. Only complaint is that the office staff had no idea about the Bisbee Coffee token supposedly included, and finally figured out they didn't do that anymore, as rooms now have small coffee makers with bagged coffee, so you can brew it yourself.
Combination system allows you to let yourself into the property, as staff is normally offsite when the office is closed. Perfectly non-intrusive. You'll like it!

For a one night stay in historic Bisbee, there is no better place. We stayed in the suite with a full kitchen (that we only used to make coffee and store leftovers from a cheesy Italian restaurant.
The room was cute. The bed was comfy. The location was the best. What more could you want?
The only minor drawback was that one of the windows was on the same level and right next to the bar at the Copper Queen.
No problem for us. Close the drapes and fall asleep to the sounds of folks having a good time.

OK, few things you have to know. 1st, this place was not built as a hotel, that was a result of extensive modifications to a historic building, So with that in mind you have to expect certain things will as a result be more awesome, and some things will waver compared to a "big chain hotel" But if your in Bisbee looking for a place to stay this is it. First off, you get fresh cookies that are baked in house delivered to your room when ever room service shows up when your out and about. Next, your also given "Free Coffee" Tokens for the lil' coffee shop across the street. (sure most hotels have a pot in the lobby you can hit up, but this coffee shop blends and roasts their own beans which results in amazing coffee, so go use those) The room we stayed in (there are 6, and each is unique) was the basic layout you would expect for a room. Climate control, a ceiling fan (you don't often get those in hotels) Bathroom ext. the bathroom had a stand alone sink, and there was no counter, so if your a woman i'de imagine you would need to re-evaluate your preparation ritual or bring a TV tray. The staff has always been Very accommodating to crazy requests and situations we've been in. (I've stayed here multiple times). They do have Wi-Fi kinda, its actually the wi-fi to the restaurant below the hotel, that happens to be owned by the same guy... who also owns the coffee shop.... The Room has a TV. I have never used it. If your in Bisbee to watch TV in a historic building that has been turned into a hotel, you are doing your vacation wrong!

This tiny little hotel tucked away next to the more ostentatious Copper Queen Hotel is a beautiful blast from the past. Historic building on the second story above Bisbee's best Mexican bistro "Santiagos." Creaky old wooden stairs up to the second floor where there is a small sitting room and about 8 guest rooms. Each is modestly spacious with floor to ceiling windows looking out over Bisbee (on Bewery Gulch), curtains for darkening the room at night, comfy beds, large bathrooms, historic furnishings, and a good measure cheaper than the adjacent Copper Queen. This is now my favorite place to stay in Bisbee.

We visit Bisbee once or twice a year and try different accommodations. This was our first stay at the San Ramon and they had a nice variety of rooms. We chose the King bedroom with windows and our friends took the King room on the interior. The friends were more the Four Seasons type but still found the room comfortable and pleasant. Everyone needs to realize Bisbee is a time warp and rules don't really apply here. There are no lodging chains within 25-30 miles. It's an eclectic town with a lot of charm. Definitely an acquired taste. From the San Ramon pub crawling and shopping were all walking distance. When you find that parking place park it and forget the car for your stay. The Brewery, Bella Roma's Pizza, the Roka, are all great venues for food and drink. Entertainment next door at the Copper Queen Hotel and up Main at the GRAND. Good cookies and lovely bathroom amenities...(and earplugs if noise scares you!)

We spent two nights at the Hotel San Ramon and were thrilled with the service, the room, the location, and the charm. We arrived on Thanksgiving Day and spent our first night as the only guests in the hotel. It was quiet and charming and because the hotel keeps the room doors open when empty, it gave us the opportunity to peek and see the other beautiful quarters. The rooms are all situated on the second floor and the stairs are steep but the rooms are definitely worth the climb. Parking can be a challenge but then parking anywhere in Old Bisbee is usually a challenge so that was to be expected. We stayed in Room 1, right at the top of the stairs. We were concerned that when additional guests checked in the noise from the stairwell would be an issue but our worries were unfounded and we didn’t find noise to be a problem at all. The service was wonderful, we returned to the room on the second day to find fresh bottled water and homemade cookies outside our door! My only complaint was that the bed was a bit firm for our taste but I wouldn't let that stop me from staying at this wonderful hotel again.

There we were, two seasoned girlfriends who never get to go away and play together and we had two days to relax. What to do, what to do?..We both love Bisbee, so the destination was easy but we wanted a well located, reasonably priced room with two beds. That's not always easy to find. I pulled out my trusty laptop and went straight to Trip Advisor (of course).....we selected the Hotel San Ramon . Reservations were made with ease, gassed up the car and off we went. Tamara (the hotel manager) called my cell and offered us an earlier checkin...terrific...more time to shop! The room was beautiful with plenty of light and fresh air, the beds were comfy and we could not have asked for a better location. After hunting down some wonderful bargains around downtown, we came back to the room, changed for dinner and decided to go right downstairs to their restaurant (see seperate review). Slept well that night! Highly recommend this hotel! During busy weekends there may be noise to consider due to their location by Brewery Gulch but earplugs are available and Tamara will care for you well.

My husband was traveling to siera vista every month last year, and one week i decided to join him, so we stayed in bisbee at the recommendation from a friend. We chose this hotel based on the reviews and also because we could get a suite including kitchen with full size fridge. Our stay could not have been better. My husband worked during the day, and i walked around town, talked with the locals, shopped at the local market, took the bus to the next town over, cooked food for dinner, and relaxed at the coffee shop down the street. Our room was clean, a little out dated - but so is that town - so it fit. The staff was lovely, and they employed woman to clean who have gotten back on their feet after unfortunate circumstances, which i loved. The lady that clean our room was so attentive and grateful to be there, that she did such a wonderful job. Since i was staying a week but my husband even longer, i wanted to wash our clothes so i just used their washing machine and after i came back to get the clothes from the dryer, they were all folded perfectly on my bed, with candies on the top.

This is a perfect place to stay for business, or if you want a relaxing vacation in a place where you really feel like your home. I would love to spend a month in that little apartment.

So toss up...noise at night or up at dawn...Still I would absolutely recommend this place for it's charm and the hospitality of the people who work here and the people at the Mexican restaurant were nice enough to gives ice for our room.

I go to Bisbee every year for a getaway on a special event weekend and always have a great time as it's a very friendly place to be. I've stayed at numerous hotels and this year, booked a room at the Hotel San Ramon to try something new and to save a few bucks from another nearby hotel that's pretty pricey (especially on a special event weekend like this was). My first great experience was discovering that you can save a nice chunk by booking online and early on their website. I did that and was very happy with the discount. So easy to do. I loved the pics of the room online, but to be honest, they do NOT do the rooms justice! The rooms are far lovlier in person than their photos indicate! When you check in and head upstairs, all the doors are open so you can look in each room (well, if you're first up there, anyway, of course). I did and was really impressed with the lovliness of each room!

When I arrived, I was greeted by the extremely friendly staff: Tamara, the manager and Jessica, the housekeeper. Delightful women! Each guest was given a gift bag full of fun things to enjoy with our weekend, a nice touch that they certainly dídn't have to do and that was very much appreciated. Party beads, noisemakers, lollipops and colorful leis as well as a nice note. (That night, waiting by the door to my room, was a glass jar with freshly baked cookies inside and a sweet little note telling me to enoy the special weekend!).

The room was beautiful and immaculate, and the bed beautifully made up with lovely pillows and nice, soft sheets. Aesthetically, everything went together so beautifully. The amenties in the bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bath salts, makup removers and there's even a separate towel specifically for makeup. A hair dryer was provided, too. The room had a beautiful tray with bottled water and wine glasses on the bed. Everything was spotless, tidy and exactly the way you expect and want your room to be. Each room has it's own air conditioning unit with a remote, so it was easily adjustable from bed (a nice option).

I was in the one room that is in the interior of the hotel (all others face the street), Golondrina. It was very quiet, but even so, they provided soft earplugs just in case you want them. I didn't need them. I never heard my neighbors at all, either. This room has a window that faces a (very) narrow alley, so there is a skylight for added light. It is in a cupola so the windows that are letting in the light are on the sides, not directly in the ceiling. It gives you tons of light (something to keep in mind if you prefer it dark in the morning). It's a great room for an afternoon nap! The ceiling is very high and has a fan over the bed with chains low enough to reach easily. Nice.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, B&Bs, inns, etc. and can honestly say that Hotel San Ramon wins BIG points on so many levels from me and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! Excellent customer service, excellent accommodations, excellent attention to details AND to top it all off, a lovely thank you letter for staying with them. THAT gets even more points: a thank you note. Perfect.

Just trust all of us that are telling you how lovely a stay it is and go. You will love it! I'll DEFINITELY be returning and enjoying their lovely hospitality again soon!

This hotel was fantastic. I had a great room that was larger than any other hotel room I could have had in Sierra Vista. It was so nice to stay in a place with so much character and all the conveniences you need when traveling for business. Tamara, the hotel manager, was fantastic. I hosted a group of my coworkers at a local Mexican restaurant. Tamara took care of the reservation for me. Anyone coming to Sierra Vista for work should take the 30 minute drive to Bisbee and stay at the Hotel San Ramon!

We opened the door to our room to find freshly baked cookies, bottled water, and ear plugs waiting for us. Luckily, we didn't have to use the ear plugs, even though it's next door to the Copper Queen, we couldn't hear any of the live music and other nightlife sounds, which we very much appreciated. The staff were easy to deal with, the bed was comfortable, room was clean, and water pressure high.

Pamela at the Real Estate office recommended the San Ramon and I was very glad she did. The facility was warm and inviting. Tamara, the innkeeper, was very pleasant and accommodating. Everything was neat as a pin and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever had. The location is perfect with the convenience of one of Bisbee's best restaurants right next door. The fish tacos were awesome!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel San Ramon. Great location, complimentary cookies and water a nice touch. Guest room was delightfully furnished, shabby chic. Loved the added touch of having a towel for make up in the bathroom!! Never seen that before. Only negative was that the room was a little noisy during the night. Stayed in room 2. Would definitely stay at the Hotel San Ramon if I returned to Bisbee, but would request a quieter room.

Hello,

This note is primarily addressed to Tamara at the front desk whom showed us exemplarily kindness, and went out of her way to help two stranded travelers

yesterday!!

SO many times, folks COMPLAIN instead of showing appreciation.... I did not want to

have that happen in our situation....

We flew our plane from the Phoenix area for "the day only" and ended up needing to spend the night due to unfavorable

flying conditions.... Tamara not only showed us kindness and gave us some necessary toiletries,
she drove us to the Bisbee Airport back to our awaiting aircraft ...giving up a portion of her Sunday morning.
When we tried to give her a monetary gift for her trouble, she said she would give it to the housekeeper whom
"worked so much harder" than herself! What a gracious young lady........

We just appreciated this kindness so very much and it is so refreshing to encounter such service and kindness

in this day and time......

With heartfelt appreciation,

Wayne and Debbie

This little hotel is fabulous! The manager went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Upon arriving in Bisbee, we were having trouble finding the hotel so the manager went out on the street and guided us in. They were doing some work on the exterior (cleaning windows I think) and we couldn't see the sign. This old hotel has been kept in excellent condition...not run down like some older hotels tend to be. The rooms were confortable, clean and charming. We were meeting friends in Bisbee so we all stayed at the Hotel San Ramon and I got to see several rooms. All were different, which is what I love about these old hotels, but equally charming. The location was perfect and we all enjoyed our stay in Bisbee in part because of the hotel and staff. When we next vist this cool little town we will again stay at the Hotel San Ramon and I recommend you do the same.

The bed, oh yes the bed was by far the most wonderful in the whole town. We were not bothered by the noise at all. I really enjoyed being in the center of town and people watching from the window. Stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be very nice and charming. There are 6 or so rooms with kind of a B&B feel, each with private bathrooms & all conveniences. The room we had was a tad on the small side, but it was priced accordingly for Bisbee and we were comfortable. Cookies are provided in the room, which is a nice touch.

Everything was clean and well cared for. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. A code is required to enter the hotel after hours, which is nice for security. No breakfast or coffee maker provided, but vouchers are included for a free coffee at the Bisbee Coffee Co, which is a block away and an easy stroll in the AM...good coffee.

Location is very convenient, right in town and walkable to all attractions, shops, and a few dining options. The Mexican place downstairs was excellent, although the wait was ridiculous (1.5 hours on a holiday weekend Sunday night) and there appeared to be plenty of open tables...understaffed perhaps?...not the hotel's fault though.

Everything in Bisbee is historic, which is very interesting but it comes with concessions...lots of hilly streets with terrible parking shortages, slightly steep steps to access the rooms from the front door. Again, these issues are not the fault of the hotel and there is nothing they can do to solve them...they are just things visitors have to expect and deal with in Bisbee.

Weekends can be a bit noisy from the street below, but ear plugs are provided for light sleepers (we didn't need them for the most part, although we were awakened once by a bike motor).

All things considered, this is an excellent choice in Bisbee and we would stay here again. Minor issues encountered were all facts of life when visiting Bisbee...not hotel flaws.

San Ramon is a petite hotel with the feel of a quaint B&B, having peaceful respite in every detail, from the filled cookie jar, to the small bag of salts for a bath. The spacious room appointments are quaint, funky, and elegant all at the same time. My room, #4, had cathedral a cathedral ceiling and skylight, queen sized bed, colorful drapes, almost silk-like sheets, AC, antique style fan, abundant lighting, and a pile of non-allergenic pillows.

Each of the six bedrooms is well decorated and have ample bath and shower accommodations. All have not just been decorated. They have been renovated and restored with impeccable taste.

Hospitable Terri, at the front desk, asked without prompting if I would like for her to make reservations a Santiago’s restaurant next door, or how she could direct me to other sites and galleries (It was Second Saturday when many of the shops are open till 8:00). She even knocked on my door soon after I unpacked for the night to inquire if I needed anything and to inform me about my reservations.

This is not a chain hotel. Mike and Tamara, the proprietors, have roots in Bisbee and were married just feet away at the Presbyterian Church and opened the Hotel in 1996.

My only complaint about the experience, after a peaceful night – the alarm worked!

This place has won my respect, trust and that feel good fuzzy feeling you can't describe but you know when you get it. From our first contact with Tamara on check in to the way she responded and treated us during the towns black out for 3 hours Saturday evening. I am serious when I say she made us feel like family from the start. The rooms are beautiful, the beds very comfortable and this place is one of those great pay attention to the smallest details kinda place. I don't usually gush over a hotel stay but this was such an over the top experience that I simply felt compelled to do so. The location is smack in the center of town and the cleanliness of all the areas of the property shows that the staff really cares about the day to day operations. There are a lot of good places to stay in Bisbee...this one happens to be GREAT!

I stayed for a weekend with a friend in mid-June 2010. Upon arriving, Tamara welcomed us in the lobby and ran our credit cards....she happily split the bill down the middle for me and my friend. She does run the charge immediately, but for good reason...the rooms are all ready and the doors open, with the keys inside. When leaving, you just leave keys in the room, no checkout needed!

In our room...Manzanita, #2, there was a small fridge and microwave, but no phone...then again, who needs it with cell phones? The free wireless internet had no issues, was fast and easy to log on. Also...the complimentary bottles of water refreshed each day, along with the homemade cookies were wonderful. The room is air conditioned and it worked well.

We we lucky enough to be there for a town-wide blackout from 9pm to 11:30pm on the Saturday! That was fun actually, and the room had been cool so it was no problem.

My comments about noise: we were there on a busy weekend and you could very easily hear people, cars, etc from the street, till late at night. However, as we had other friends in other hotels, this seems the same at all Bisbee hotels....it's the closeness of the buildngs, and the single-pane windows. But did it keep us awake? No. There are earplugs provided if you do need them, but the ceiling fan and the AC unit provided enough white noise.

The bathroom was OK...hot water was plentiful and actually a bit too hot, be careful! :) Only comment there would be to have a bit more shelf space.

Parking is not difficult, Tamara will tell you where is good when you check in.

I put up a few pics of the room...lots of windows, and very nice decor. I highly recommend!

There is indeed little to add to the praise so rightfully given this establishment!

Perhaps I should add:

* Tamara is a charming and helpful hostess, making your day (at least mine!)
* yes, the stairs are an inconvenience, but mostly only for guests with heavy luggage
* I think the parking situation should be spelled out more clearly on the web site - not that we had any problem
* noise was no problem during our stay (Wednesday night), but the single-pane windows do little to annuate sound
* a window-frame was loose and rattled irritatingly in the heavy night-time wind until we jammed it with a folded paper napkin

We had dinner at the Bisbee Grill and breakfast at the Breakfast Club - recommended!

All in all, a very pleasant experience we would gladly re-do for a longer stay and confidently recommended to other prospective guests!

This is a great place to stay, right in the centre of old Bisbee. The room we had, on the corner of the hotel, was large, airy and pleasant - and probably the best accommodation we stayed in during the whole of our holiday in the States. Bisbee itself is a fascinating place; the shops have plenty of interest, there are two establishments roasting coffee while a visit to the mine - just a few hundred yards from the San Ramon - proved a good way to spend a morning. Tamara is an excellent host(ess) and did a lot to make our stay enjoyable. Recommened are the Mexican restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel and the Bisbee Breakfast Club for (what else?) breakfast. .

The previous reviews were very helpful. "Old Bisbee" is an old mining town built in steep, winding valleys. All of the buildings are OLD, by Arizona standards. The Hotel has been recently remodeled, and is comfortable, charming, and delightful. The beds were great, and everything worked well. We were in room 2, a corner room overlooking the main street and two others. Some of the vehicles in Bisbee could use a new muffler, and one can hear street noises, but how else do you get such a wonderful view? We enjoyed the museum just across the street, and the main street is just 1/2 block away. Tamara was attentive and helpful. The room was better than expected, and we would stay here again. We also enjoyed breakfast at the Bisbee Breakfast Club (on the other side of the mine, 2-3 miles away), and the Cafe Roka (3-4 blocks away) for a superb dinner. There is on-street parking within 50-100 feet, and there is a large parking lot just across main street.

Just like home, but better because someone else cleans up! We found this place because a nice lady at the Visitor's Center called to see if a King room was available. Only certain places have King rooms. What a wonderful hotel! When we got to the hotel we were really tired, but the smiling receptionist, I think her name was Terri, but might have been Keri, greeted us the way my own reservationists great people. I own a small beach rental company in NC . The woman was very helpful in answering all of our questions about what to see and where to dine.

The bed was so very comfy and the sheets were so soft and the pillows were perfect. Truly. Being in this business, I know what guests want. The bathroom was large and the towels were quality linens. We found little bottles of personal care products, like most hotels; however, there was also a little gold voile bag with bath salts in it. After walking all the hills in Bisbee, my aching muscles really appreciated this.

The rooms do not have coffee makers, but you will find bottled water and lovely glasses along with ear plugs (WE DID NOT NEED THEM) and coupons for free coffee on a tray on the dresser. The coffee house is right around the corner.

The television is smaller than the usual, but we didn't care because we were so exhausted when we came back from dinner. The only thing that mattered was the comfy bed.

Another guest mentioned that the hotel was noisy, but we thought it was quiet.

My husband has been a volunteer fireman for 40 years. The first thing we do at a hotel is check where to get out of the room in case of fire. The King room has only one window that could be used as a fire escape and the drop it is a long way down a narrow alley. However, the reservationist did show us where the door to the back stairs was located-- not far from our room. I have stayed several times at the Hotel San Ramon and have never been disappointed. It starts with great service at the front desk. On several occasions I needed to check in late or and they made every effort to accommodate my needs. They also make you feel very welcome as they show you to your very clean and quaint rooms. The rooms are decorated nicely and the beds are wonderful. The food downstairs at Santiagos is also very good or you can have a drink on the patio next door at the Copper Queen.

And one other important detail for an old town like Bisbee in air conditioning. Some placed can have those old window units that rumble and smell bad and wake you up every time they turn on. The San Ramon has very quiet (and must be expensive) programmable units. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Amazing town and our stay at Hotel San Ramon was the icing on the cake. This hotel is very quaint. The hours at the front desk are little, but if you do your home work and prepare you will be alright with them. The desk lady was very pleasant and helping. The rooms were pretty, but I hoped for a more historic look. They were very clean and the location could not be beat! The price was alright, but I saw places to stay that were a little more budget friendly and had the same qualities.
All in all I would recommend this place to anyone. I plan on staying at a new place every time I go to Bisbee. This is one to check out.

We really enjoyed this hotel! First, the location is perfect and a five minute walk to the main strip in town. The hotel had a lot of nice little touches, like fresh baked cookies, bottled water, wine glasses and a corkscrew, and bath salts. The room was very cozy. We were there over Christmas, and the office Manager was wonderful, pulling together a list of open restaurants for us. The stay was really wonderful and I'd recommend this hotel.

Since we have family in nearby Douglas we have been through Bisbee many times, sometimes stopping for a meal or activity but never staying there. In November, we returned to southeast Arizona for a family funeral and decided to stay in Bisbee instead of Douglas. I booked reservations for three rooms (my hubby and I, daughter and family and an aunt and uncle). I hoped the Hotel San Ramon would be as nice as we had heard. The San Ramon's rooms not only met our expectations but we found ourselves in love with this cozy gem! The Victorian decor of our room was darling! So many little touches one just doesn't find very often starting from the claw food bathtub to the color theme of cranberry and white. The bed linens were luxurious and the kitchen was an added bonus, not to mention the fresh baked cookies that appeared magically each day! We could walk anywhere in Bisbee we wanted including three outstanding restaurants that were only steps away. Santiago's Mexican restaurant (right next door) offered incredible Mexican food and believe me having lived in Arizona for over 50 years I have a lot of experience in that field! What a fun happening place, lively with music, great food and fun people. Right across the street is the Bisbee Grille--fine dining in the west! The steak I had was perfect and the horseradish mashed potatoes were awesome! In the same building we found the Bisbee Coffee Shop--not only great coffee (the beans are ground and blended right upstairs) but the home made scones really hit the spot! Would I recommend the San Ramon--absolutely! Fun things to do in that area include strolling around exploring various artsy stores and a tour of the Bisbee Mine. If you are claustrophobic, you might want to skip this one. Hop onto the ore cars with your miners helmet and enter the world of copper mining from the 1800's to present day. AND, if you stay all night--make sure you have reservations at the Sam Ramon (rooms fill up quickly)--kind of the frosting on the whole experience of what Bisbee is!

This is a small hotel (only 6 rooms). The lobby is not manned after 9pm. We arrived after the 9pm closing but the manager graciously made arrangements for us to pick up our room key at a local restaurant. The room was large considering the size of the hotel. There were loads of small touchs that made you feel like you were a guest in someone's home. For example, make-up removing towelettes and hand towel (marked "Makeup") in the bath, cookies, wine glasses and cork screw. The towels were wonderfully soft. I did not see it mentioned on the website but our room had a small refrigerator and microwave. The room was cleaner than any I have seen in several years, no mildew or hard water stains or dust. Except for noise from the street below the hotel was quiet. The hotel may not have many large amenities like a pool or workout room but if you want a nice, clean, safe place to stay this is IT!

Bisbee is a neat little town and I stayed at this hotel because of Trip Advisor reviews. Reviews were spot on. Neat as a pin with good service and great location. Water, cookies in room, clean and tidy. Only caution is that Bisbee has several bars in the area and the music can be quite loud as can the motorcycles that barrel down the streets. I had no complaints but could hear the bass from the bar down the street. At certain times during certain events, I imagine noise could be a real issue. Other than that, no complaints.....

I wanted to try a smaller hotel in Bisbee for a quiet getaway for my husband's 60th birthday, but to be still located in a prime location. This hotel is next door to the Copper Queen Hotel , and has only six rooms. This was voted no. 1 last year so I decided to book it and chose their Dare to be Scared package that ended in April. We were greeted by Tamara, who, with her husband, runs this quaint hotel. The rooms are all on the second floor, and are newly renovated, clean, and quite roomy. Since there were no coffee makers in the room, we had daily tokens for freshly brewed coffee at the Bisbee Coffehouse across the street. Each day, we had fresh cookies and bottled water.
We would park our car across the street in the lot but didn't need it for the two days we were there. The hotel in centrally located in back of the Bisbee Historical Museum, the Old Bisbee Mine Tour, the main shopping street, and more.
Our package included the mine tour, the nighttime walking ghost tour, and dinner for two at the Bisbee Grill (excellent food). All were within walking from our hotel. Tamara even booked us for reservations at Cafe Roka Restaurant, which are hard to get. I am recommending this gem of a hotel to all my friends who are looking for a place to get away from the city for the weekend. Get a package deal - it's worth it!

My friend & I were in Bisbee for the day and were planning to spend the night.
We did not have reservations, but lucked out on availability. The Hotel San Ramon was a good choice. With only 6 units, the hotel is able to provide very spacious rooms that have been modernized, but at the same time, retain some of the original structural detail. I stayed in Suite ## 3 and loved it. The room had 4 large windows which provided a very bright and cheery atmosphere coupled with the high ceilings. My room was richly decorated in burgundy w/ velvet and brocade touches. The bedding was plump and extremely comfortable .
One of the added features of this suite was a kitchenette-also very spacious with the bathroom off to the side. There was plenty of room to move around.
This was an excellent location, next door to the Copper Queen and Santiago restaurants.
It is said that the area can get quite noisy during the weekend, but we were here during the week and the town pretty much rolled up after 10p, so I did not hear anything.
Overall, I really enjoyed the comfortable and upscale ambiance that the Hotel San Ramon provided.

Tamara accommodated with a smile, the few needs we had, and stayed in contact with us throughout the visit to make sure our stay was acceptable. She even offered her cell number for a contact just in case we needed it.

The rooms are kept extremely clean, with very comfortable beds, linens and towels. No scars on the paint or worn areas typical of small town, locally owned places. The bath was spic and span, and the common areas and layout gave it a feel of someones own home. It couldn't be more inviting.

I would be less than honest if I didn't mention the possibility of some noise from the surrounding area, but, unless your a light sleeper, it's a non-issue.

You can't get closer to the heart of town. Great room, great view, comfy beds, all I hoped for -- including a TV in the bedroom. We reached town a couple of hours before the 3 p.m. lobby check-in, so we explored and had lunch next door. I didn't feel inconvenienced.

I'd read about the noise, but I was there on a Wednesday night and it was peaceful and quiet. The family also owns Santiago next door where we had a good lunch, Bisbee Grill where we had an excellent dinner (we followed Tamara's advice and had the special pecan-crusted salmon), and Bisbee Coffee Co. No coffee service in the room, but there's a free token for coffee at Bisbee Coffee Co. And Tamara supplied fresh-baked cookies.

I paid $127.71 including lodging tax and sales tax. I definitely would stay there again--but I would be wary of a weekend night.

Yes there is noise at night but that will be the case for any hotel in the area because you get lots of reverb from the stacked buildings. However, after a day of walking and exploring you ARE going to sleep.

Hospitality was A+ !! I called around on New Years Eve searching for a place to stay in Bisbee, but no rooms were available. However, about 2 hours later I received a phone call from San Ramon, and they had a room suddenly available!!

Upon entering - it was a great little place, and the manager was so nice and friendly. She left homemade cookies, fun New Years toys and a chilled bottle of champagne with glasses!! It was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious, and included a two queen sized beds, TV, and a small table with chairs. The bathroom was enormous! And it was all sparkling clean.

We were on a corner of the hotel, and we had windows on two walls. Since San Ramon is right in the heart of Bisbee, we could see all the action right below us. However, those same great windows we enjoyed at the beginning of the night, were the same to dislike by the end of the night... Noise. Now keep in mind, this was New Years night... but, it was basically as if the windows were wide open, and the passers-by were standing outside the windows of our second floor room. (They were also a bit drafty, even with the curtains down)

Lastly, don't be eager to leave... We are early risers, and were anxious to get home, so - we packed up and tried to check out at 9am. However, the attendant was not there. We read that they would not be in until 10am. So, we stuck around until 10:15 - but still no attendant. We had to leave the key hidden on the table in the room in order to leave.

Overall - it was a great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bisbee, and when we return, we'll most certainly stay at the Hotel San Ramon.

The Hotel San Ramon is a wonderful place to stay in Bisbee. It is very centrally located, but this could also cause a problem if you happen to be staying in the rooms facing the street on a weekend night. There are bars and restaurants steps from the hotel and could be pretty noisy. We stayed on a Sunday night so this did not deter us at all from having sound sleep! Tamara is such a nice and attentive host, and the warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival in your room is most certainly a nice treat! The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is big and roomy. You have essential amenities provided (bath salts, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion-all travel size) and the towels are very nice. Next time we are in Bisbee, we plan to stay at the Hotel San Ramon.

The Hotel San Ramon was a great experience! I had relatives from out of town visiting and decided to take them on a road trip to Bisbee. Our stay could not have been better! The location of the San Ramon is perfect; right next door (literally...) to the major landmark in Bisbee: The Copper Queen Hotel. The Inn Keeper, Tamera, was so hospitable and gracious! We arrived at the doorstep of the hotel only to be greeted by her. She helped us with our bags and luggage and even introduced us to her cute puppy dog, Ruby.

Right away , we found the hotel airy, sunny, very clean and very welcoming. Our room was great for the four of us: two very comfortable beds, and a great sized bathroom, complete with a tub and pedistall sink. One nice touch: the homemade chocolate chip cookies! They were still warm by the time we munched on them. Our room had a great view of Brewery Gulch and the Queen Mine. By the way: Tamera gives free coffee tokens to her visitors good for a 12 oz coffee at the Bisbee Coffee Company. It's across the street from the Hotel and the coffee is superb!

If you are planning an overnight stay in Bisbee, choose the San Ramon. You will not be disappointed! Great value and great hospitality! A+!

My stay at the Hotel San Ramon was top notch! The room was airy, clean and well appointed. In particular, I loved the comfortable beds and huge bathroom. The hotel is centrally located and was a breeze to find. The owners and staff were attentive and very friendly.

If you like Mexican food and drink visit Santiago’s. It’s an excellent restaurant below the hotel and they too have a warm and welcoming staff that made my dining experience extremely enjoyable.

Give Bisbee and the Hotel San Ramon a visit. You'll be glad you did. I can’t wait to go back!

I recently relocated to Arizona and have started traveling around checking out cool little towns around the state. A friend of mine told me about Bisbee and said that Hotel San Ramon was the best place to stay. Boy was she right! The hotel is small and quaint with a really cool eclectic decor. My room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable (it didn't FEEL like I was staying in a hotel) and the freshly baked cookies in my room were a great touch! I spoke with one of the owners (Tamara I think was her name) when I checked in, and she was great in suggesting all kinds of neat little places to check out while I was there. It's located right in the heart of town, so I could walk wherever I needed to go. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again should I find myself back in that cute little mining town!

We were so impressed with the Hotel San Ramon that when we come back, not only are we staying in this hotel, but we are requesting the same room.

Overall, this is the best hotel my boyfriend and I stayed in....we CAN'T wait to come back!

We recently returned from a four day stay in Bisbee, AZ and at the Hotel San Ramon. This property of 5 guest rooms and one manager room is located in the heart of Old Bisbee at the foot of Brewery Gulch. The hotel is on the second floor, above the Santiago Restaurant. We arrived in a pouring rain (monsoon time in AZ) and Tamara, the manager, helped us unload quickly to avoid getting drenched. After checking in, she helped us up to our room and familarized us with everything, right down to the wonderful chocolate cookies that we received daily (how wonderful was that). This hotel is absolutely wonderful, clean in every respect, and our room ( room #4) is the quietest of all. Tamara and her staff were very helpful and answered any question we had, no matter how silly. The room was great, no fridge or ice, but Tamara made sure we had an ice bucket waiting for us in the afternoon/early evening. With hospitality and cleanliness like this, we will definately be back to visit.

My husband and I stayed here in early May 2007 and loved it. We can't recommend it highly enough!! We were the only guests the first night and had our choice of rooms. All are large, clean and beautifully decorated. We chose Room 1 which had a king size bed and a view that we liked. Tamara, the manager, was most gracious to us. There was some noise from people hanging around the the museum grounds across the steet, but they were gone by 9 and didn't interrupt our sleep. The only drawback is that there is no mini-fridge or obvious source of ice, but Tamara told us that they have plans to add a fridge, etc. either to each room or in the large foyer area upstairs. That would really put the icing on the cake. She brought us ice from the restaurant next door which is also owned by the same family, but we didn't know about that the first night. Oh, the hotel is in an old building and you have to go up steps to get to your room, so if you have trouble with steps, it would be a problem for you to stay here. Otherwise, enjoy!

This hotel is in a perfect place for walking to and from all the hot-spots in town. I was disappointed that the office was closed upon checkout. They had some very delicious smelling candles I wanted to purchase! Guess that just means I'll have to make another trip to Bisbee. This is a place I'll definitely stay at again!!!!

Hotel is next to the Copper Queen Hotel. It's old but quaint. I spoke with Tamara to make reservation and she was very friendly. Even though we stayed in the smallest of the six rooms, there were nice touches like fresh cookies, bottled water, chips for coffee at the Bisbee Coffee Co. across the street. Outdoor noise might annoy during special town events, but we weren't bothered. It was fun to stay in a non-standard hotel. Wish you could book online since I had trouble getting a cell phone signal to call. Reasonable rates.

It was our 37th wedding anniversary and we always wanted to go to Bisbee to see what it was like. We decided on the Hotel San Ramon based on the reviews we read in TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed in the least. The rooms were exceptional. We wanted room #5 for Friday night but it was booked but room #1 was available so we took it. It was fantastic. Saturday room #1 was booked but #5 was available so we took that. Once again the room was fantastic. I couldn't say anything negitive about the San Ramon if I tried. Tamara had champagne and flowers waiting for my wife when we arrived on Friday and everything was just perfect. If you ever go to Bisbee you have to stay at the Hotel San Ramon. Plus the fact that the restaurant in the same building called Santiago's is a great place for a casual dinner. I would definitely give the San Ramon a "10".

Great experience! Staff was extremely friendly during reservation and checkin and gave us lots of advice what to do and where to go. The room (no. 5) was perfect, modern and stylish, everything including the bathroom was very clean. From the "comfy point of view" clearly 5 out of 5.

One minus, however, for some noise problems: Didgeridoo player on the street at 2 AM, music from the bar (?) at 2:30 AM, guitar player somewhere in the house woke me up at 8 AM, air conditioning noise from adjacent room every few minutes - but that's probably to expect when booking such a convenient downtown location in an old building. With earplugs you'll be fine - and prices are incredibly low.

Thank you for your kind review. Many apologies about the noise. We do have a policy about noise from "external sources", but internal or external, please alert us (even if it's 2 am). A manager is on the premesis 24/7 and we have no problem being disturbed if your sleep is being interrupted. We will do our best to remedy the problem if it is in any way within our capabilities. Again, apologies for the disturbances. We hope it didn't interfere with your enjoyment of Bisbee. Warmest, -Tamara

I want to say how appreciative we are for everyone's wonderful responses. We are so glad you're enjoying your stay. Being a new place, we strive to achieve and maintain the kinds of standards of comfort any guest should expect. We welcome any and all comments as it only makes us better for you, our welcome guests.

I noticed that this last guest responded that they didn't like the lack of coffee or wireless in the rooms. We do in fact have hi-speed wireless internet. I am terribly sorry if you weren't notified of that, or if maybe it wasn't working for some reason. We will always do our best to remedy such things on the spot if it's brought to our attention.

Also, you should have been given tokens for coffee at the Bisbee Coffee Company. If you weren't, again, my sincere apologies for the oversight. We chose this option over in-room coffee because it's SO much better than any of that pre-packaged stuff. ;o) We hope that you will consider visiting us again, and please bring this note to my attention. We'll be sure to do our best to make amends.

Warmest, -Tamara
